This document explains how DeskMe Oy uses personal data we collect from you when you use our website.
What data do we collect?
- Your email address
- We may collect your phone number as alternative to email address in case of anonymous paid reservation (optional)
- Your display name (optional, can be changed in profile)
- Reservations you made - location and time for each of them (can be viewed in profile)
How do we collect your data?
- When you're invited to the system, we store your email address
- When you are accessing our website anonymously and making a paid reservation, we ask your email address and/or phone number
- When you are making a reservation, we collect place and time of the reservation
How do we use your data?
- We use your email so that we can identify you and sign you in
- We use your email to send you confirmation emails about reservations you made and about your cancelled reservations
- We show your reservations in the system
- We show your display name in the system next to your reservations (it is visible to other logged in users)
How do we store your data?
- Your data is stored securely in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
What are your data protection rights?
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request for copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request DeskMe to correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request DeskMe to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request us to erase your personal data.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
- The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to processing of your personal data by us.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request us to transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.
If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
